Is it right for you?

Who is Xrero for, and who is it not for?

A good fit if…

You run vans or trucks, drivers and one or more warehouses in the UAE, and want drivers' documents and check-ins, each vehicle's contracts and costs, stock, purchasing, VAT accounts and WPS payroll in one system, in Arabic and English.

Not the right fit if…

You need live GPS tracking, route planning or dispatch, fuel cards, customs declarations or a tracking page for your customers' shipments: Xrero does not do these today, so a dedicated tracking or transport system fits that part better.

Common questions

What is the best logistics software in the UAE?

No one system suits every logistics company; it depends on yours. If you need live vehicle location, routes or dispatch, look at a tracking or transport management system. If you need the business behind the trucks in one place, check five things: drivers' check-ins and licence expiry; each vehicle's contracts, services and costs; stock across warehouses with barcodes and landed cost; accounting with 5% VAT and other currencies; and WPS payroll. Xrero does all five in one system: office users AED 99 a month (AED 83 annual), employees who use the staff app AED 20 a month or AED 200 a year, with optional set-up from AED 2,999. It does not track vehicles by GPS or plan routes.

How much does logistics software cost in the UAE?

Xrero has two prices. Office users (managers, HR, accounts) cost AED 99 a month (AED 83 annual), with every app included. Drivers and staff who use the staff app (check in and out from the phone, see payslips, request leave, see their own documents, file claims) cost AED 20 a month or AED 200 a year each. Staff who only check in on a fingerprint or face terminal or only receive payslips, and drivers recorded on a vehicle who never sign in, are not charged. Set-up by our team is optional, from AED 2,999 once, and there is a 15-day trial with no card.

Can Xrero track our vehicles by GPS or plan delivery routes?

No, not today. Xrero saves the phone's location when a driver checks in or out, at the hub or on the road, but it does not follow vehicles live. GPS tracking, fuel cards, route planning and dispatch need a separate system.

How do we know when a driver's licence or visa is about to expire?

Each driver's driving licence, visa, Emirates ID and labour card are kept with the number, issue and expiry dates and a scanned copy, and each shows valid, expiring or expired. A daily check raises a to-do for the person responsible when a document enters the warning window (60 days by default) and again on the day it lapses, inside the system rather than by e-mail. Xrero tracks the dates you enter; it does not check a licence with any authority.

Are we reminded before a vehicle's lease or insurance ends?

Yes. In the Fleet app each lease and insurance contract has its cost and end date. Contracts ending soon are flagged on the vehicle, and a renewal to-do is planned for the fleet manager, 30 days before by default.

Can we run stock in several warehouses with barcode scanners?

Yes. Each warehouse shows what is on hand, reserved and forecast per location. Receipts, transfers between warehouses and deliveries are recorded with barcode scanners, and lots, serial numbers and expiry dates are supported.

How does landed cost work for imported goods?

Freight, duty, clearing and insurance on a shipment are spread over the items it brought in, so each item's cost includes them. Supplier bills can be in other currencies, with the AED value in the books. Xrero does not prepare customs declarations.

Does it produce the WPS salary file for our drivers and warehouse staff?

Yes. Payroll covers salaries, overtime, leave and end-of-service gratuity under UAE labour law. The approved timesheet becomes the salary draft, and one approval produces the WPS salary file (SIF) for your bank or exchange house. Payslips print in Arabic and English.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes. Every screen works in Arabic and English, and invoices and payslips can print in both.

How long does it take to start?

With set-up, about two weeks. Our Dubai team configures the system, moves in your data and trains your staff.

Is Xrero the same as Xero?

No. Xrero (X-R-E-R-O) is business software built in Dubai for UAE companies. Xero (X-E-R-O) is a separate accounting company from New Zealand. The two are not related.
