What the new WPS rules mean for your business
From June 1, 2026, the UAE Ministry of Human Resources (MOHRE) requires every employer to send salaries on or before the 1st of each calendar month. If less than 85% of your payments arrive on time, your establishment gets MOHRE-blocked — meaning new visas, contract renewals, and labour cards stop until you regularise. The bank also enforces the new SIF 2.0 file format; the old format is rejected.
