Getting Xrero Office on your PC takes about five minutes. Here is the complete walkthrough, from download to your first document.
Step 1 — Download the installer
Go to xrero.com/office and click Download for Windows. The installer is a single file (about 2 GB) that contains all four apps — no extra downloads later, which is also why the suite works fully offline.
Step 2 — Run the installer
- Double-click XreroOfficeSetup-v20.exe in your Downloads folder.
- If Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen, click More info and then Run anyway — this appears for new publishers and the installer is safe.
- Click Next, accept the license, keep all four apps selected and click Install.
- Click Finish — you are done.
Step 3 — First launch
Open Xrero Writer from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. You land on the start page where you can create a new document, spreadsheet or presentation, or open recent files:
Step 4 — Switch to Arabic (optional)
Click the EN / AR switch in the top-right corner of any editor to change the whole interface to Arabic — the app reopens your document with a fully right-to-left interface.
System requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- 4 GB RAM or more recommended
- About 3 GB of free disk space
- No internet connection needed after installation

Yes — the installer lets you pick Writer, Calc, Slides and PDF, though we recommend keeping all four.
How do I uninstall it?
Settings → Apps → Xrero Office 20 → Uninstall — a clean removal, your documents are never touched.
